On December 14th, we’re collecting non-perishable food to support FredVictor.org – a charitable organization working hard to end homelessness in Toronto by giving people the support they need to get back on their feet, with 20 different sites across Toronto providing programs to over 2,000 clients daily.
Each day they serve between 350-450 meals to people who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, food insecurity and/or mental health challenges.
Visiting Fred Victor’s Food Services Programs is more than coming for a meal. It’s also an opportunity to connect with staff and other people living in the community – an opportunity to not feel isolated. When people come for a meal there are amazing staff who are there that can offer assistance and support. Supporting their Food Services Programs goes a long way and is truly a meaningful way to help.
