Matt Olinski’s clients Astrid and Brian had a plan – one that evolved over the past five years.

In 2019 they sold their Riverdale home to downsize to a city ‘pied-a-terre’ and take advantage of their home in Florida and cottage. Then covid hit.

First, the uncertainty, then the competition and increase in values became a deterrent and they were happy to take advantage of their secondary properties during this time.

When interest rates started to rise, Matt reconnected with them to look at taking advantage of the shifting market.

They found a beautiful updated 3 storey, totally renovated, 3 bedroom, condo townhome on Broadview Avenue in a boutique 16 unit development.

There was an offer night but they were the only offer at the table. Matt secured the unit for only $1000 over asking while the same unit sold in 2021 for $60,000 more than they paid!
